826 Michigan is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills. Volunteers have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities with 826 including after hours drop in tutoring and going into Ypsilanti elementary and middle schools to tutor. Volunteers can also help at the store in front of 826.

Sunrise Senior Living is a residence home for the elderly. Sunrise offers many services for its residents including assisted living, memory care, independent living, skilled nursing, and short term stays. Volunteers engage with the residents in a wide variety of ways including playing games with the residents, talking and visiting with them, and planning special events for them.

Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation helps to organize community events. From decorating a senior center at Christmas to assisting at the Farmers Market, volunteers are free to participate in the events that interest them the most.
