It means I am able to help others and give back to the community which has become my home over the past 3 years. Everyone deserves to have a chance to succeed and that's what A+R strives to do with our community service and our fundraising for the endowment. I was so grateful to receive a scholarship and I know that through A+R we can make that same impact on another student. | ![]() Julia McMahon, Recruitment ChairI am a sophomore currently enrolled in LSA. I applied to dual enroll in Stamps School of Art and Design last semester and I hope to apply to the School of Kinesiology this semester. I am between a lot of different paths right now, therefore I am undecided on a major. Nevertheless I am happy to take the extra time to develop and explore my passions. I joined because my life would not be the same without my scholarship and a club that is comprised of other people that feel the same is comforting. |
![]() Angela Hong, Outreach and DI am a junior majoring in cellular and molecular biology and minoring in medical anthropology. I am proud of being a part of A+R because it is a vehicle for scholarships students to give back to the amazing community found at the University of Michigan and provide the same opportunity for other students! I love showing my gratitude through volunteer work with this group as well as learning more about Ann Arbor through involvement in the community. |
